My days usually begin quietly, with a moment to centre myself before stepping into the work.
Each session holds something different: grief, hope, reflection, resilience. I strive to create a space where clients can explore their journey and find the support they need.
In between sessions, I take notes, check in with colleagues, and pause to reset. The emotional range of this work is vast, but every conversation is held with care.
There’s a rhythm to being a therapist: listening deeply, noticing small shifts, trusting the pace of each person’s journey.
After a full day of sessions, I find balance by spending time with my family and walking Mabel . These quiet moments—whether in nature or gathered around the dinner table—are how I reset and reconnect with myself. They help me show up fully for my clients, day after day.
By the end of the day, I feel the weight and the honour of this work. It’s not always easy—but it’s always meaningful.
