January is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia that impact millions of individuals and their families. Understanding dementia and its effects can help reduce stigma, improve care, and offer meaningful support to those affected. By learning more about the signs, symptoms, and available resources, we can all contribute to a more compassionate and informed community.
Having experienced dementia with both of my parents, I understand firsthand the challenges and emotional toll it can take. If you or a loved one are navigating dementia, I am here to support you on this journey. Connecting with your local Alzheimer’s Society is also an excellent step to access additional resources and assistance.
Together, we can make a difference—fostering understanding, compassion, and care for those impacted by dementia.
