August often feels like a deep breath. Summer is still here — bright, warm, and full of activity. There are road trips, BBQs, late sunsets, and sandy shoes. Kids are in full summer mode, and maybe… so are you.
And yet, there’s a subtle shift in the air. Thoughts of routines start to creep in. Back-to-school ads appear, calendars begin to fill, and the slower pace of summer begins to feel fleeting. August holds this delicate in-between space — a time to soak up the season while gently preparing for what’s next.
If you’re feeling a bit in-between yourself — still resting, still playing, but also noticing life’s transitions — know that you’re not alone. This is a natural rhythm, and it’s okay to honor both sides: the lingering ease of summer and the anticipation of the season ahead.
If you’re looking for support during this transitional time, I’m welcoming new clients with openings in August and September. Sessions are available in person in St. Albert or virtually across several provinces.
