As I reflect on yesterday’s day of rest, I can’t help but think of the llamas I photographed at my friend’s farm last winter. They were calm, present, and completely unbothered by the snow and cold—three generations standing strong, rooted in connection and community.
Being in their presence reminded me that sometimes, all we need is to pause, breathe, and simply be—like these llamas, unhurried and at peace. They stand together, offering warmth and support, just as we lean on our own support systems to help navigate life’s challenges.
As you read this, I invite you to take a moment now: slow your breath, find your calm, and feel the connection—to yourself, to others, and to the world around you.
