Mother’s Day can bring up a mix of emotions — joy, gratitude, longing, grief, or even tension. Today, we hold space for all of it.

  • To the mothers who are celebrated — thank you for the love you give.

  • To those who long to be mothers or have chosen a different path — we see you and honour your journey.

  • To mothers who have lost children, and children who have lost mothers — our hearts are with you.

  • To those whose relationship with motherhood, or with their own mother, is complicated — you matter deeply.

  • To those who mother in nontraditional ways — stepmoms, aunties, grandmas, mentors, caregivers, and chosen family — you are part of what makes this day meaningful.

  • To anyone who finds today difficult in ways words can’t capture — your pain is real, and we hold it gently with you.
