Wednesdays can pull us in many directions — ruminating on what’s behind us or worrying about what’s ahead. If you’re feeling scattered, a simple grounding practice can help you reconnect with the present moment.
Feet on the Floor Practice
-
Sit or stand comfortably and bring your attention to your feet.
-
Notice how they connect with the ground beneath you.
-
Press them gently into the floor — not forcefully, just enough to feel steady. Breathe in.
-
As you exhale, imagine sending that breath all the way down into the earth through your feet.
-
Repeat 2–3 times.
Allow yourself to feel supported by the earth beneath you — steady, present, and held.
If you’d like guidance on grounding, stress management, or navigating life’s challenges, I offer compassionate counselling in St. Albert and online. I’m here to walk alongside you whenever you’re ready.
