Wednesdays can pull us in many directions — ruminating on what’s behind us or worrying about what’s ahead. If you’re feeling scattered, a simple grounding practice can help you reconnect with the present moment.

Feet on the Floor Practice

  1. Sit or stand comfortably and bring your attention to your feet.

  2. Notice how they connect with the ground beneath you.

  3. Press them gently into the floor — not forcefully, just enough to feel steady. Breathe in.

  4. As you exhale, imagine sending that breath all the way down into the earth through your feet.

  5. Repeat 2–3 times.

Allow yourself to feel supported by the earth beneath you — steady, present, and held.

If you’d like guidance on grounding, stress management, or navigating life’s challenges, I offer compassionate counselling in St. Albert and online. I’m here to walk alongside you whenever you’re ready.
