The Road Ahead
During a short getaway last week, I paused to take in a view that stopped me in my tracks — a quiet, winding road framed by trees in the midst of their seasonal transformation. It was a gentle reminder that moving forward doesn’t always mean racing toward a destination; sometimes, taking it one step at a time is more than enough.
As the season shifts, the leaves change, and the world around us transforms, fall invites us to notice the changes in our own lives too — in our routines, our energy, and our mindset. Some days, we feel ready to move forward with clarity and purpose. Other days, we may be called to slow down, pause, and rest. Both are essential.
Like this road, we don’t need to see every turn ahead to keep going. Each step, no matter how small, carries us forward.
As we embrace this season of change, what intention are you carrying with you? What small step will you take today that honors where you are and where you hope to go?
